What disciplines do we put in place to meet our karmic needs in the future?
June Updates — Karma Focus
We have some interesting events in the skies this month, also very significant of our ‘karmic trends’ in each of our lives. (See June 25th Karmic Astrology workshop). That will be our focus for this month as we watch the following cosmic occurrences:
...Mercury will turn direct (thank the gods!) on June 3rd. …New Moon — May 30th in the early degrees of Gemini, signifying new areas of creativity for those planets in agreement with Gemini.
…New Moon — June 28th on the same day that Neptune also turns retrograde in the latter degrees of Pisces, causing some confusion and disillusionment for the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces). It can also cause a burst of insight and creativity if focus is maintained in those same signs.
…Full Moon — June 14th in the sign of Sagittarius. Time to have some closure in the areas that are in your chart regarding Sagittarius.
…Saturn turns Retrograde on the 4th of June at 25 degrees of Aquarius and stays Rx until October 23rd. I cannot say enough about the karmic influence of Saturn in everyone’s chart.
…Neptune turns Retrograde June 28th and remains so until December 4th in the latter degrees of Pisces, allowing for more reality testing in the area of the mutable signs mentioned above.

Karmic Focus for Astrological Signs — Sun, Moon, and Ascendant
Aries — I will initiate activities and not wait for my partner(s) to do so. I am an initiator of action and inventive in many ways that others might not understand. I need to quit expecting compliance and move on ahead with ideas and creativity.
Taurus — I am responsible for my own personal authority in matters and need to create my own personal wealth and happiness. This is true, especially in relation to others who might be waiting on me to realize this method of ownership. I create my own wealth and ownership.
Gemini — My goals are to be objective and set practical experiences as my guide. I am learning to listen to my own wisdom and watch my distractions so they don’t get me sidetracked in my vision and purpose in this life. I am now paying attention to details and focusing on ideas.
Cancer — I am learning to not be so sensitive to external situations, but learning to take care of my own nurturing needs. I am learning to also provide for family and partners in a way that nurtures them rather than takes nurturing from them. This is difficult due to my sensitive reactions.
Leo — I use my charisma and personality to accomplish spiritual goals. I realize that my skills may help others reach their goals and do not personalize my accomplishments but see them as a humanitarian effort in group work during the Aquarian Age.
Virgo — I take my incredible sense of analysis and synthesizing to a healing level and learn how to help others without creating more worries for them. I am learning to be specific in my practical work. I will allow others to have their own experience, sharing my wisdom and not interfering.
Libra — I am creative and loving in all that I do. I no longer expect the partner(s) to be the same, but I have learned to mediate and negotiate my partnering skills. I have become less sensitive to my own needs and learning to step into the ‘shoes of the other’ in order to understand my own projections.
Scorpio — I am learning that my depths of understanding are a gift. I am using this creatively to gain more insight into my personal awareness and also to help others gain insight in a way that they can understand. I realize my depths are often very caustic to others.
Sagittarius — I am realizing my demand for ‘truth’ in all situations creates a dynamic of separateness. I am learning to develop tact and directness in my communication with others. I will always get to the truth, but not as quickly as I expect. Need to adjust my expectations.
Capricorn — I am learning to stay with my practical creativity and, at the same time, create security and financial responsibility in this lifetime. I realize that others may not manage their lives according to my expectations and I am finding ways of helping communicate so they may benefit from my ancient wisdom.
Aquarius — I came into this lifetime to help others and befriend those who cannot help themselves. I must do this in a way that does not confuse my boundaries. I am a natural humanitarian and want the best for all. I need to honor my individuality with mediation and wisdom along my path.
Pisces — I am realizing my depth of compassion and sensitivity to those around me. I am becoming less concerned about my own sensitivities when they prevent me from seeing the realities of others. I am learning the wisdom of: “it is what it is” and facing, objectively, the reality of others.
