Wow! What a December we just went through: a Lunar Eclipse on the 10th of December not to mention the Mercury Retrograde up until December 13th. I am sure you all are busy with beginnings and endings and getting it touch with your patience and fortitude. Get ready for a rocking and rolling New Year as well. We have all heard the hype on 2012 and yes, there will be changes; earth changes and the raising of consciousness, however hopefully the new global network will bring about more responsibility for peace and prosperity. If those who cannot promote this attitude and adapt to these changes don’t affirm this, then it will be those who suffer the most. Don’t let that be YOU! We will focus in these quarterlies on the challenges and the affirmations for each sign of the zodiac as they apply to your sign. And now what is coming up for January, February and March that will affect us all: Mercury will move retrograde for the first time in 2012, March 12th through April 4th in the sign of Aries moving retrograde into latter degrees of Pisces. Mars, a very energetic planet, will move retrograde January 23rd through April 13th, covering three months of our energy, redirecting and directing in the sign of Virgo which will definitely cause anyone with Virgo emphasis to sit up and take notice. Saturn will turn retrograde February 7th through June 25th in the latter degrees of Libra before it turns toward Scorpio in its direct motion later in the year. What a relief for these Librans who have been really solidifying their goals and ambitions and dealing with the setbacks of life’s lessons. Be watchful of New Moons to start projects, give or take a couple of days: January 22nd, February 21st, and March 22nd. This is a time for beginning projects, new diets, physical disciplines or any creative endeavor that has been culminating. The Full Moons are times to finish up and complete something and times of ‘letting go’: January 8th, February 7th, and March 8th. It is helpful to watch New Moons and Full Moons in all areas, health, business, relationships and finances as it affects all of these areas.
Aries
What does Aries have in store for those who are in this cardinal T Square between Uranus, Saturn and Pluto? Those early Aries are bouncing with changes all over the place, coming up against that which they have resisted most and having to confront the situations in health, career, relationships and spirituality. It depends on how you look at the situation in order to find some affirmative and positive steps to take rather than looking at the glass half empty. Expect the unexpected toward the end of January and notice the way you handle these issues that come about. You are being asked to make changes in some living conditions that have not met with your own standards, so exactly what are your standards and expectations? You might find yourself confronting the career issues and those who have control over what you say and do in your place of work, or you will find that you have been asked to exert your own authority and have to deal with the problems of those employed by you….those problems which you cannot escape or ignore. You will want to stay in good standing with the loved ones near you, partners and others with whom you have shared intimate moments. These connections will benefit you through trying times especially through the month of February. You also want to take care of health issues that have been creeping up on you and make some decisions about following some sort of disciplines whether they be holistic or medical….you need to make some quick decisions about the quality of your health, diet and regimen.
